Translation for Health and Wellbeing

If you are working towards a world where we can all enjoy better health on a long-term sustainable basis then I would love to help you promote it.

Introduction:

I offer translation from Italian, Spanish, French and Portuguese into English (UK, ANZ or North American). During my formative years I lived, worked and studied in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and Belgium (European Commission) and developed a deep understanding of the respective cultures and languages.

My career has also spanned from the UK to Australia and back to the UK again, working for US companies for much of that time. I am therefore very familiar with the varieties of expression and differences between the English used in the three countries.

My experience so far means that I understand where you are coming from and can get you to where you want to be in the global English-speaking market.

  • Working in the private health care sector as a homeopath since 2010

My particular area of interest is in helping people to live happier and healthier lives. While we take our health for granted much of the time, it is only when we lose it that we realise just how much our happiness can depend on it. I feel the same way about the environment and the importance of learning how to live in more sustainable ways so that we can maintain our own health and the health of the planet for the long term.

This is often used as part of the quality assurance process to verify that a translation is accurate. It is done by re-translating a completed translation back into the source language.
It may be required to meet regulatory requirements and is often favoured in specialist fields where translation accuracy is essential, such as the pharmaceutical industry, legal, medical and/or finance. While this can make the translation process more lengthy and expensive, Back Translation allows you to judge for yourself the accuracy of the translation.
